how do i get into the building?

The entrance is located in the back of the building on the intersection of Bonsal & Ionic.

can i put my membership on hold?

Absolutely! If you need to put your membership on hold for any reason (vacation, injury, etc.), you can do so for a small fee of $15/per month.

is there a penalty if i cancel my workout reservation?

We ask that you cancel all workout reservations at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your workout. Any cancelations that happen with less than 90 minutes notice will be charged a $10 fee.

is there a penalty if i don't show up for my workout reservation?

All no-shows will be charged a $10 fee.

can i sign up for a waitlist if a class is full?

Yes! We encourage all members to add themselves to our waitlist if their desired class time is full. In the event that someone cancels their reservation prior to the start time of the workout, we will notify the next person on the waitlist that a spot is available and that person will be automatically added to the workout roster.

Are there open gym hours available?

Yes! CrossFit Rittenhouse has open gym hours available every Sunday between the hours of 9am-12pm. You must still reserve open gym time ahead of time just like you would a normal class.

what is the murph challenge?

The Murph Challenge is the official annual fundraiser of the LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Lt. Murphy was killed during a reconnaissance mission to find a key Taliban leader in Afghanistan.. Murph was first posted on August 18, 2005, and is completed every year on Memorial Day by CrossFitters and Navy SEALs alike.


The workout consists of the following:

  • 1-mile run
  • 100 pull-ups
  • 200 push-ups
  • 300 air squats
  • 1-mile run
  • … in a 20-lb. weight vest or body armor
